SEO

Get your business discovered organically. If you’re looking for a residual source of traffic for your website, SEO may be the answer.

We can help your business (or your client) rank first on keywords that matter.

Our Process

Step 01

When we start with a client, we begin with an SEO Audit. This process involves us carefully reviewing the on-page SEO of your existing website. We evaluate your use of headlines, header tags, meta data/descriptions, image SEO, and information structure.

Step 02

Here, we’re looking to ensure everything on your website is properly interpreted by search engines. We make sure there is no information that search engines can’t reach such as content in iframes or videos without subtitles.

Step 03

We want to optimize your website so that the essential pages get in front of the right visitors at the right time. The pages which describe how you can help your customers will be front and center.

Step 04

Its important, here, that content is properly structured within the website. For instance, we want to make sure that all of your business service pages fall as child pages to the ‘/services’ page, i.e. ‘/services/plumbing’. This best practice is also useful for easy navigation

Step 05

After we correct all on-page SEO, we begin with off-page factors. Here we deploy a plan for blogger outreach, backlink building, and content strategy. Typically we would define the need for which strategy would be most effective based on the market ecosystem our clients are in.

Step 06

If we’re able to craft a great story that would play well with bloggers then we’ll work hard to get in front of the right influencers. Its important to deploy the right strategy at the right time. You wouldn’t use a jackhammer to change a sparkplug—why do the same with your SEO strategy?

Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Webopedia defines Organic SEO as, “Organic SEO (search engine optimization) is the phrase used to describe processes to obtain a natural placement on organic search engine results pages (SERPs).”

When SEOs refer to Organic SEO they’re typically referring to non-localized search terms. Terms like, ‘top facial care brands’ or ‘custom stencils’. Depending on the industry, organic SEO can be very difficult, if not impossible for non-specialists.

Because of how hard it can be, its important for practitioners to be skilled at the art of keyword research. Many times large, successful organic SEO campaigns are able to grab top positions on general keywords by focusing on their long-tail counterparts.

An example of a long-tail keyword for a term like ‘Bluetooth headphones’ could be something like ‘top Bluetooth headphones with over 30 foot range’. Our process revolves around building momentum around less competitive, long-tail keywords and using that momentum to jump search engine ranking on broader, higher traffic terms.

We help identify and capitalize on long-tail keywords for your brand to push you to the top of your rankings.

Industries we have experience with Organic SEO in:

  • Ecommerce
  • National Brick and Mortar Product or Service Brands
  • Media Companies
  • Lead Generation Websites

Local Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Does your business operate locally? We can help.

Local SEO is a very different animal from organic SEO. Whereas organic SEO success is predicated largely on effective use of long-tail keywords, local SEO is much more focused on local business listing services like Google My Business.

With all of our local business clients we make sure they’re getting the most out of their business listings. Where relevant, we list your business on Apple MapsAngies ListYahoo LocalFacebook, and more. This helps you to show up no matter your customers searching habits.

We find that a lot of businesses don’t take the time to list on platforms that they, themselves don’t use. Apple Maps and Facebook are great examples of missed opportunities in this area. These listing services often serve to inform search engines with information on your business, providing, for example, review data and service details.

There’s no reason for you to miss out users, who, say, search for solutions on Facebook. We help to make sure that you’re capturing as much traffic as possible.

In addition to listing optimization, we also want to make sure we’re giving search engines on-page ques as well. This often involves setting up structured data schemas to inform search engines of your business’s hours, location, brand, and more.

Hiring us means that when customers in your area are searching for solutions you provide, your business will front and center.

Voice Search

According to Google, “20 percent of mobile queries are voice searches (Source: Google) 1/5th of people with mobile phones speak to their devices instead of typing”. With 60-70% of traffic being on mobile, this accounts for 12-14% of the total search traffic.

Have you ever asked your phone assistant, “deliver options near me” or “atm near me”? I know I have.

These searches provide huge opportunities to businesses who capitalize on the opportunity.

Voice search is only a recent development with voice assistants such as Alexa, Siri, and Cortana. This is a trend that is just getting started and is here for the long haul. As hardware companies continue to move consumers away from screens and into a more interactive experience, you can bet that more and more of your web traffic will be from voice search.

Much of voice SEO success hinges on companies ability to provide search engines with the data they need. Search engines typically deliver voice results from rich snippets (schemas). We can make sure that these search engines have the information they need.
