This case study goes over the results a B2B marketing project that we were able to do with Herban Roots, a naturally-sourced skin care eCommerce company.
Their original website was outdated and not built with the customer buying process in mind, costing the company massively in uncaptured sales.
We were able to bolster their conversion rate through using creatively using analytics and applying conversion best practices. One example of this is through updating the company’s website to be more customer focused.
Updated Website Above the Fold:
The website overhaul process started with user segmentation, identifying target demographics as well as appropriate value propositions. With that in mind, we wrote the copy with the sole focus of convincing qualified web traffic to customers. Finally, we moved forward with the actual building of the website.
While working for this client we were able to discover the massive impact we could have in disrupting how skin care purchasing agents go about sourcing their products.
In setting up a separate website (URL: https://herbanrootswholesale.org/), we were able to craft a user experience engineered toward converting customers. Our approach to this project was not only in running a campaign for our client—the campaigns we ran were very successful, but also in thinking from the ground up with how we went about marketing and retaining future clients.
At the end of the day we believed that retaining customers was what was core to growing sales, and that’s exactly what we set out to do. Everything we did was with this core concept in mind.
Everything from how we told our client’s story online, to development of high-converting product pages, and even running PPC advertising campaigns, we did so with the intent of gaining customers who would be around for years to come.
Here are some of our Analytics results:

I could go on and on about how much value we were able to add to Herban Roots, but you shouldn’t just take my word for it—here is what Georgia, the company CEO, had to say:
